Hi! I’m Daniela, the creator behind Gray Elephant Goods located in Wauconda, IL. I officially started my business in 2020, but the artist I was then is nothing like the one I’ve grown into today. I like to think my real woodworking journey began in 2023, the moment I picked up a scroll saw. Something clicked. It opened a part of my mind and heart I didn’t even know I’d been missing — a spark of creativity and passion that felt completely my own.

Every piece I make is a step forward, a little challenge to myself to grow, refine, and push my craft further. I pour a lot of love into the details, because that’s where the magic happens for me. There’s nothing quite like watching raw wood transform under my hands into something with personality and presence.

Woodworking has become my outlet — the place where my imagination turns into something real and tangible. Being self‑taught hasn’t always been easy, but the learning, experimenting, and problem‑solving are what keep me inspired. This journey has taught me to trust my hands, follow my curiosity, and keep stretching the boundaries of what I can create.
