Hi, I'm Daniela, the artist and maker behind Gray Elephant Goods.

I started woodworking in 2020 with absolutely no formal training. Mostly just curiosity and a determination to learn. I quickly fell in love with using power tools and overcoming the challenges each new project brought. In 2023, I purchased my first scroll saw and immediately fell in love with the tool. It unlocked a creative side of me that had been dormant since I was a kid. Today, I specialize in creating intarsia and scroll saw art.

What started as a small creative outlet has taken me places I never expected.

My work and patterns have been featured multiple times in Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts. where I've had the privilege of contributing instructional projects. I've also taught scroll saw and intarsia techniques, presented at woodworking events, and shared what I've learned with fellow makers along the way.

To this day, my goal is as simple as it was when I first began: create each project to the best of my ability and make every piece better than the last. I still get ridiculously excited when I finish a project and the final piece matches exactly what I envisioned. I hope my work inspires joy, wonder and imagination!

Thank you for being here and for giving my handmade work a look.

It means more than you know.
