Bee

This magical and dimensional bee has been on my “to make” list for quite some time! Each piece of hardwood was individually cut on my scroll saw from Goiabão (yellow wood), Wenge, Walnut, and Blue Pine.

The checkerboard backer is crafted from Purple Heart and Canary. The perfect landing spot for this happy guy.

The moon inlay on the Wenge adds just the right touch of charm and a fun technical challenge to the piece.

This piece is part of my “mini collection,” but he is absolutely a tiny burst of magic that feels alive on your wall.
