Lily of the Valley & Little Skulls

Lily of the Valley is famously toxic, so pairing these blooms with tiny skeletons felt perfectly fitting.

This full hardwood piece is crafted with Poplar stems, Eastern Red Cedar floral bells, and Holly skeletons. Each one carved with careful attention to dimension and detail.

The backer is a striking combination of Purple Heart and Canary, adding warmth and contrast to the delicate flower on top. 

Carving such small features was both challenging and incredibly fun. Giving miniature details real depth is something I take seriously, and this piece shows it.
