Not everything magical grows in the sun. Below the cap is a playful, earthy tribute to the quiet beauty of fungi. Hand cut on a scroll saw and made with walnut, cherry and maple and framed in black walnut sap wood. The natural spots on the sap wood actually inspired this whole piece. This piece invites a second look - little mystery, a little wonder and a lot of character.
